A Day Of Archery Challenge For Our Veterans

We’re proud to say that some of our customers are members of the military; many are veterans who have bravely served our country overseas. Unfortunately, not all of them come home without injury or harm.

We’re honored to host a Veterans’ Day archery shoot and lessons for our disabled veterans on Monday, Dec. 16th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This event is FREE for Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) members and applicants.

You’re welcome to come and learn to shoot a bow and arrow or simply shoot your own with us here at Texas Archery. Open to all disabled veterans, we’ll be shooting in our 3D Range. This premier, one-of-a-kind indoor range has 10 shooting stations to test and hone your skills. If you’re new to archery, our award-winning instructors will be there to guide and teach you. If you’re already an experienced shooter, practice and challenge your friends and colleagues.

There will be some lessons on adaptive archery with sample devices available for you to try. Learn how they can help improve or ease your shooting!

Each station in the 3D range has multiple life-sized targets, with elevated shooting positions. This range has 30 to 40 different Rinehart and McKenzie competition series targets set from 10 to 40 yards. And, of course, all of our other ranges are fully air-conditioned with no rain, heat, humidity or mosquitoes to deal with.

For those of you who don’t shoot but want to attend to visit or learn more about this fun sport, there is an elevated balcony with seating for watching the action.

A catered lunch will be served for members and guests, sponsored by Paralyzed Veterans of America (Texas Chapter).

Please RSVP by calling the Chapter Office at (713) 520-8782. For additional info, please email admin@texaspva.org.
